Tension boiling up under the surface. A balloon that’s about to burst. That’s what the new The Grand East album sounds like. With new influences like Velvet Underground and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, they’re bringing their sound into the present. On stage, their show is on fire as always, with a singer who sings like he’s got a voodoo priest on his heels.
With their new album, The Grand East is in total control. They will release it on their own label, that was set up together with their fans. After playing more than 40 festivals, 2 club tours of their own and the first European steps in 2017, it is time for a new chapter. And it starts now.
